Young Researchers’ Retreat 2024
21 - 25 April 2024, Dietmannsried
The retreat meeting is aimed at young researchers of the priority program SPP2137 and will pursue three objectives:
- strengthen the network among young researchers interested in skyrmionics, namely students, PhD candidates, postdocs, as well as junior group leaders,
- broadening the knowledge of the current status and the future of research on skyrmionics, and
- promoting individual communication and research skills.
The retreat will start on April 21 with dinner at 6 pm and will end on April 25 after lunch at around 1:30 pm. The program of the retreat is available here.
Location and travel
The retreat will take place in the seminar rooms of das flax allgäu, Schlosserstr. 4, 87463 Dietmannsried (https://www.dasflaxhotels.com/index.php). Onsite accommodation and meals will be covered by the SPP. Participants are requested to arrange travel themselves. Limited travel funds are available upon request.

All participants are requested to contribute a poster. In addition, you can apply for a contributed talk (20+5 mins).

International Conference on Skyrmionics 2024
2 - 6 September 2024, Kloster Seeon
The International Conference on Skyrmionics of the DFG priority program SPP2137 will be held at Kloster Seeon from September 2 - 6, 2024. The conference serves to present and discuss the latest developments in the field and review the status of research on skyrmionics.
The scientific program will start on 2 September 2024 after lunch and will end on 6 September before lunch. The detailed program will be made available closer to the conference.
Location and travel
The International Conference on Skyrmionics will take place at Kloster Seeon https://www.kloster-seeon.de. All local expenses will be covered by the SPP. Further details on travel arrangements will be announced closer to the conference. Limited travel funds are available upon request.
